From that moment on, the cards (and thus the monocolor decks) were only legal in digital formats like Alchemy and Historic. In March 2022, the Arena Base Set was removed from Bo1 Standard. Unlike previous monocolor decks, these decks were built using cards from a special non-rotating set called the Arena Base Set (ANB) to ensure they remain legal beyond Standard 2021. Cards that are replaced through these upgrades are automatically moved to the sideboard.

A change from previous iterations is that the monocolor decks will remain rotation-proof beyond Standard 2021.
